Just picture one of those little kids' playhouses with a kids' table and chairs in it. The playhouse is very cluttered with who knows what and the song Time of Your Life by Greenday is playing on a record player. Yes, a record player; I had one when I was a kid. This song was probably never on vinal, but you're inside my brain now, so in here it is.
Hi! My name is Jodie and I live in New Jersey, in the United States if you're looking at this site from another country. I have a lot of interests. They include fanfiction, pod casts, voice chat, accessible computer games and reading. But since I got into fanfiction and pod casts, I don't read, chat or play computer games as much as I used to.
I want to try writing my own fiction, not just fanfiction, but haven't really gotten into it yet. I do have a couple of stories I wrote for school, and one I wrote when my ISP was acting up and I was bored that was written from my first guidedog's point of view. This is Sunnie.
She and Tiger are both from the Seeing eye in Morristown, New Jersey. The link takes you to their web site.
This site used to be semi-organized, but I'm just not an organized person, so I figured my site should show my personality. I've also taken down all the depressing stuff because I want this place to be fun. I had hours of fun in my playhouse as a kid.
I used to have the send mail link taken down because I was getting too much spam, but now I have a good spam blocker, and so does asmodean.net, so You can email me again with comments, suggestions or questions. click here if you want to know more about me.
These are the stories I wrote, either because I was bored or because they were for school. There aren't many, but I might post more.
Click here to read them.\I've never ben much of a blogger, which is surprising, considering I used to keep a diary faithfully for years, but somehow I got away from it. I never liked the idea of blogging because I thought there was too much possibility of giving too much information. But Twitter is good because you can only post a 140-character message, so you're not writing a novel.
This is a personal account, so if you follow me, or if you check this site for updates, you may see some silly, off the wall things. The friends I talk to the most tend to bring out my silly side and we're all following each other.
If you would like to follow me, please send me an email and tell me so I don't think you're a spammer and block you.
These are my favorite pod casts. I like the idea of pod casts because that way I get a new file from a specific site each time it's put up. My pod catcher (you'll find a link to it when you click the pod casts link) downloads them automatically and that way I don't have to go to a site only to find they haven't uploaded anything new yet, so the trip to the site was for nothing. You'll also find links to the pod casts when you click on the pod casts link.
I didn't include this in the stories section because they're made for fans by fans of whatever show, book or movie they liked. The web site is here and my pen name is LuckyDuck29. The link takes you directly to my profile so you can read and hopefully review my stories. I have mostly General Hospital fiction up there, with one Thundercats, several Darkwing Duck, one Duck Tales and one Star Trek The Next Generation fic. I have anonymous reviews enabled, so you don't have to be a member of the site to send me a review.
I read a lot, or I used to before I got into all this other stuff. Stephen King is one of my favorite authors, but here are a few of my favorite series. The links have descriptions of the series, as well is links to any web sites I might know of that have to do with the series. I hope you like them as much as I do. Click the link to see the series description and/or web site. They're in no particular order; I like all of them equally for different reasons.
The Wheel of Time is also one of my favorites. If you want to find out about that one, click the wheel of time faq on the main asmodean site where Raul has all the info.
I created another web site the other day that is both less and more personal. My main purpose was to learn and apply php to my web site, which doesn't seem to be supported here. The other site also has more space. I'm also trying to learn more JavaScript, which may or may not be applied here, too. I do intend to keep up this site; the other one just gives me more flexibility. I also have some things there that I meant to post here years ago, but never did. I just thought The Twisted Toybox was a cooler and more appropriate place for it. Check it out and let me know what you think.
This is all the playhouse has to offer for now. I'm hoping to put more up eventually. I hope you like the site. Please let me know what you think.
